The holidays are upon us and Blu-Rays, DVDs with or without digital copies, make great, easy to grab and wrap presents so we are starting to watch some and tell you what is out there for you (let's face it.. who doesn't buy themselves a gift or two?). Then there are your BFFs, significant others and, yes, it's necessary, even mom, dad and those annoying younger bros and sises, cousins etc. Here, in Part 1, is the info and our verdict on some hot animated films, some rom/coms, a little action and some tee

Emmy winner Ray Romano hosted the International Myeloma Foundation's 3rd Annual Comedy Celebration for the Peter Boyle Memorial Fund, where the "Everybody Loves Raymond" alum spoke about paying tribute to his late co-star. The Ray Romano and Kevin James Celebrity Golf Classic, which will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, California, will benefit the advancement in vision science at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California.  

One of my least favorite things about sports writers is the assumption that people they are covering owe them something, namely time and quotes. We've seen it in the Gilbert Arenas situation. He used to give great quotes, spend extra time with reporters, etc.  

My anniversary dinner with Mrs. Tivo was a big success, with the folks at the Capital Grille treating us quite well (rose petals on the table and everything).  

It's perfectly fair to ask if Ice Age 's introduction of dinosaurs shows an udder disdain for any sense of chronological integrity.
